FP&A Lead

Ledgers is an early-stage startup building the AI-Powered Operating System for founders.
As we scale, we want strong internal finance hygiene: simple, consistent, and decision-useful.
The Role
Based in Cairo, Egypt. We operate with flexibility today and plan to transition to a hybrid model once Ledgers Egypt is fully set up (target: Jan 2027).
This role reports to the CEO.
You will own core finance operations including monthly close, reporting, and planning support, and help establish lightweight controls and workflows.
You will collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure clean data flows and reliable reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own monthly close and reporting cadence including P&L, cash, and KPIs
- Maintain budgeting and forecasting models with leadership
- Build cash visibility including runway tracking, burn monitoring, and scenario views
- Coordinate vendor payments, invoicing, and basic AP/AR processes
- Support compliance and admin workflows including contracts and record keeping
- Create simple internal controls and documentation as the company scales
Requirements
- 5+ years in finance or accounting with startup experience as a plus
- Strong Excel and Sheets modeling skills and financial reporting discipline
- Comfortable operating end-to-end without large team support
- Clear communication and an ownership mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with SaaS metrics including MRR, churn, CAC, and LTV
- Familiarity with accounting software and streamlined close processes
- Experience working with founders or leadership teams
